e85 w/ nitrous

I have a SBC with pro action 220 11.8 compression
i and currently spraying the car with a edelbrock plate system 89f-85n 5.75psi flowing through a .73 jet.

what changes would i have to do for the E85 fuel. i do not have a stand alone fuel system
i have a Aerospace ultra 450 fuel pump to a magna fuel log with 2 regulators .

I've read to go 8-10 sizes bigger on the fuel jet at the same pressure as a starting point...stay conservative with your timing and read your plugs.

from switching to E85 does the nitrous pick up the same mph and ET as it did on gasoline?

Smile

Should pick up more, because of the high octane of alcohol and the more ignition you can put.
More ignition = more power !

My motor seemed to not like any extra timing while spraying. It still made more power but nipped plugs, forcing me to pull 5* out. Then again,I like my tuneups on the clean side.lol
Even with 5* less timing it went .25 faster with e85 in the nitrous cell vs c16.

89/85 should be a fat tune to begin with, how'd your plugs look? I would think for e85 you'd be lookin at a 93f/85n to begin with and probably lean it out from there.

is your plate a cross bar plate or single n2o and fuel bar? If its a crossbar you flow with a 073, if its a single bar you flow it with the sane size fuel jet going in the plate.
